Situated on the north side of Hilton Head Island, Palmetto Hall is among South Carolina’s premier gated golf communities. With more than 700 acres of land and 200 acres of wetlands, Palmetto Hall is one of Hilton Head Island’s newer neighborhoods with non-resort single-family home offerings becoming available in the early 1990s. With more than 550 residences tucked into the quaint community, the elegant homes exude southern charm with big front porches, shutters, dormers, large columns, and low country designs.
Amenities within this picturesque South Carolina Lowcountry community include swimming, tennis, a clubhouse promoting neighborhood interaction with regularly organized events, and of course world-class golf. Featuring 36 holes of championship golf throughout two Arthur Hills and Robert Cupp designed courses, golf-loving members are treated to a true Hilton Head golf experience with greens and fairways immersed in Southern natural beauty.
But it’s not all about golf in this close-knit gated community. While Palmetto Hall does require membership, the flexibility of both golf and social memberships make it more attractive to more people, providing a true sense of small community kinship with residents ranging from families with children of all ages to empty-nesters and retirees.
