Haig Point presents the ultimate golf community for privacy, security and enjoyable everyday living. Accessible only by boat or private ferry, this Low Country paradise features a Rees Jones Signature golf course acknowledged as one of the finest in the world.
The community is respectfully carved into 1,050 wooded acres of Daufuskie Island, a sea island located off the coast of South Carolina between Hilton Head Island and Savannah, Georgia. At Haig Point, environmental preserves and historic structures are more than just a backdrop to the beautiful homes and homesites. Marshes, lagoons, fairways, the sound and the Atlantic Ocean are just a few of the views to choose from.
With no cars in Haig Point, golf carts and bicycles carry residents down the winding roads, making it one of the most exclusive private golf club communities on the East Coast. Haig Point is a member of the Audubon Society's Cooperative Sanctuary Program, providing numerous habitat and wildlife preservation programs while following a rigorous outline for environmental protection.
