Canton, Ga. August 27, 2012 – Soleil Laurel Canyon, the award-winning master planned community for active adults, announces its three-part special event program to present its new homes and state of the art model park to the greater Atlanta community.

The park of eight designer-decorated model homes, completed by a custom design workshop for selecting finishes and an elegant sales center, are perfectly positioned on a cul-de-sac in the heart of Soleil’s picturesque community. Using this backdrop for Soleil’s target audiences to experience the Soleil lifestyle, the following events have been planned under the theme “Passport to the Resort Life”:

  • Residents stroll through the model home park on Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. where they will savor wines with complementary hors d’oeuvre pairings from around the world while they enjoy the live sounds of Jazz Trio and learn about the eight new floor plans.

  • Community leaders and Canton-area influencers will join Soleil executives for a luncheon and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Soleil Singers will delight attendees with a Broadway-style jingle while VIPs enjoy a seated lunch. Tours of the homes and Soleil’s 28,000-square foot clubhouse will be available.

  • Consumers will delight in Soleil’s Grand Opening on Saturday, September 15, 2012, from noon – 5:00 p.m. The Grand Opening will feature a luncheon buffet, candy bar filled with candies from around the globe, mocktails, The Mike Veal Band playing poolside and door prizes.

Soleil worked with its resident advisor team to choose the theme “Passport to the Resort Life” for the grand opening events. “We interviewed the residents and held a focus group,” said Kirk Avery – sales manager at Soleil Laurel Canyon. “The results of the research suggested that although traveling around the world is one of the residents’ favorite pastimes, returning home to the resort life at Soleil is even better. We hope people from all over the state will join us for this great series of events.”
