Tampa, FL (May 18, 2011) – Six FishHawk area schools recently received more than $19,000 in proceeds from the 14th annual FishHawk Ranch Road Race. Bevis Elementary, FishHawk Creek Elementary, Stowers Elementary, Randall Middle, and Barrington Middle each received checks for more than $3,000. In addition, the FishHawk Road Runners Club received $1,000 to provide scholarships to local students. Earlier this year, nearly 1,000 runners competed in a 5k race which has raised more than $200,000 for various local charities since 1997.
