GETTYSBURG, PA, June 6, 2025 — Many passionate Amblebrook residents came together on Friday, May 30th to participate in a Heart Walk in support of the American Heart Association (AHA), raising over $1,500 to advance research, education, and awareness for heart health.

Held at Amblebrook at Gettysburg, the event featured a scenic walk route, enthusiastic volunteers, and a shared mission to fight heart disease—the leading cause of death worldwide. Participants laced up their sneakers and walked in solidarity for happier, healthier hearts and longer lives.

“We're thrilled with the turnout and grateful to everyone who contributed to this important cause,” said Sara Carbonell, Director of Sales and Marketing for Crown Community Development. “Every dollar raised helps fund life-saving programs and research through the American Heart Association.”

The walk concluded with a lively afterparty complete with music, refreshments, and activities for all ages, giving participants a chance to celebrate their efforts and connect with fellow supporters.

The organizers extend their heartfelt thanks to all walkers, volunteers, and sponsors who made the event a success. With community support like this, the future of heart health looks stronger than ever.
