Sarasota, FL (December 9, 2016) - The USA AS Roma U12 and U13 Showcase will be held Dec. 9 and 10 at the Premier Sports Campus (PSC) in Lakewood Ranch, and hosted by the Chargers Soccer Club. The showcase games start at 9 a.m. each day.

The USA AS Roma Academy, which is entering into its third year in the United States, includes some of the best youth soccer clubs in the country: the Chargers Soccer Club (Fla.), Crossfire (Wash.), FC Boston (Mass.), Patedores (Calif.), PDA (N.J.), Real Colorado (Colo.), Real SoCal (Calif.), Vardar (Mich.), Scott Gallagher (Mo.), and Lonestar (Texas).
“It is great to welcome the AS Roma affiliated clubs to the Premier Sports Campus,” said Antonio Saviano, director of sports for the PSC. “These clubs were picked by the professional staff and to be able to host them here in Lakewood Ranch is great.
“It is also another opportunity to share our fantastic facility,” Saviano said. “AS Roma representatives will be traveling from Italy to be at the Premier Sports Campus to watch games and scout players. AS Roma is a very famous soccer club and is known throughout the world.”
AS Roma of Italy is one of the elite professional clubs in Europe and across the world, and is owned by American James Pallotta of Boston, Mass. The USA AS Roma Academy partnership is focused on identifying the top youth US Soccer talent and sharing the AS Roma best practices and performance development models to enhance soccer development in the United States.

The top youth coaches of AS Roma will be in attendance to identify this elite group of U12 and U13 players, as well as working with the USA Academy Clubs coaches in soccer curriculum and AS Roma best performance models.
