Weekly market to take place Wednesdays at historic Carnes Crossroads landmark
SUMMERVILLE, SC (April 7, 2016) - Back by popular demand, the Farmers’ Market at the Green Barn at Carnes Crossroads is returning May 4. The local market, conveniently located on North Main Street (Hwy 17A) between Summerville and Goose Creek, will take place weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 - 6:00 pm through the end of August.
An open-air venue, the Green Barn provides a shaded showcase for fresh produce, seafood, baked goods, treats, artisan products and more from a variety of local vendors.
Confirmed vendors to date include: Gruber Family CSA Farms, Caladiums Creations (baked goods), Ruby G's Closet (hand sewn items), Pampered Skin (all-natural bath & body products), Fruit Creations (jams and jellies) and Purple Rose Candles. Additional vendors will be announced closer to the opening date.
The Green Barn is located directly off North Main Street (Hwy 17A) at 207 Parish Farms Drive. From I-26 take Exit 199B for Highway 17 A. Travel three miles to the first entrance to Carnes Crossroads. Turn left and head towards the Green Barn. Ample free parking is provided.
