Venice, FL (Jan. 7, 2015) –The Key Largo, one of two new Grand Villa models at WCI Communities’ Sarasota National, is now open for viewing. The 2,389-square-foot Key Largo single-family design offers three bedrooms, a den, three full baths and a powder room.
With interiors by Kay Green Design, the Key Largo features a memorable dachshund-themed kids’ room and a unique combination of poppy, gold and a spectrum of blues against sandy backgrounds.
Featuring an open great room concept, the home includes designer-selected 12-by-24-inch tile installed in a brick pattern in main living areas to enhance the model’s spaciousness and introduce undertones of blue and gold.
The model showcases clean-lined dark wood furniture accented with glass and metal, soft contemporary pieces and painted surfaces. Neutral-tone walls and upholstery provide the backdrop for bright berries, pale and smoky blues and gold in accessories, pillows, artwork and window treatments. The great room includes a dining area that flows into the kitchen and through sliding glass doors that showcase the pool, lake and golf course views.
A painted gold surface and white beadboard accent the ceiling above the great room and dining room, with both illuminated by gold drum-shaped lighting fixtures.
The kitchen features java-stained paneled cabinetry paired with quartz countertops and a gray-blue glass subway tile backsplash. The kitchen also offers a freestanding breakfast island, a walk-in closet pantry and stainless steel appliances.
The den has two freestanding bookcases framing the desk, chair rail-accented walls, and a brown velvet armchair with bronze nail-head trim. It also has a walk-in closet, allowing it to function as an additional bedroom.
Softer, soothing tones from the main palette create a serene setting in the private owner’s suite, featuring a dark paneled wood bed, creamy colored linens and touches of poppy, gold and light blue in pillows and artwork. Bronze nail heads add a touch of glimmer to cream-toned nightstands.
The owner’s bath offers a double-sized walk-in closet, and its bathroom has a shower, vanity with his-and-her sinks, and a water closet.
One of the Key Largo’s two guest rooms serves as a functional space for visiting grandchildren. The room features bright aqua, berry, gold and smoky blue in striped and chevron-patterned pillows and colorful dachshunds on fabric used for playful pillows and window treatments.
The third bedroom pairs neutral and smoky blues with bright poppy and golds in artwork and floral and striped pillow fabrics.
Both of the home’s two guest rooms have a private full bath.
The Key Largo offers 3,154 total square feet, including a covered entry, lanai and two-car garage. The home design starts in the $280,000s.
The Key Largo is one of seven two- and three-bedroom Grand Villa homes available at Sarasota National, which also offers Coach homes, Carriage homes, single-family Villas and Golf Estate homes with two and three bedrooms and up to 3,184 square feet of living space.
