Canton, Ga. (January 6, 2015) – Following its recent acquisition of 150 additional acres, Soleil Laurel Canyon has hired Charlotte, North Carolina-based consultant firm, LandDesign, to consider overall facilities to ensure current and future residents continue to benefit from the vast amenities Soleil offers, which have helped garner  Soleil esteemed recognition as one of the top retirement communities in the country.

Part of Soleil’s expansion plan is making the best decision for how to incorporate these 150 acres inside the current gate structure. The consultant firm’s report of options is expected to be presented by the end of this month to Active Lifestyle Communities, LLC (ALC). A healthy market and overwhelming demand caused Soleil Laurel Canyon to purchase 150 acres consisting of 181 homesites from property previously part of the Laurel Canyon community.

In addition to the recently acquired property, Soleil Laurel Canyon’s asset manager, Jason Garmon, says he expects construction of Phase III (currently undeveloped land) homes to possibly begin sometime in 2016. Phase III currently has plans to have 183 homes.

The homes to be built on the newly purchased land will feature two and three bedroom designer floor plans that are spacious with elegant architectural details for which the award-winning community is widely known.

Interested buyers are encouraged to visit the active adult community and experience all Soleil has to offer. Soleil will plan special events to introduce these new homes in spring of 2015.
