Sarasota, FL (Oct. 22, 2013) - The 16th annual Tour of Homes, held from Oct. 25 – Nov. 17, will feature a variety of activities and events that will highlight Lakewood Ranch as a great place to live, work and play. There are 41 models to see and tour on the Ranch. “With the market rebounding we couldn’t be more pleased than to have the opportunity to showcase 40 plus model homes featuring 15 builders,” said Jimmy Stewart, LWR Communities’ vice president of sales. “If our sales traffic year-to-date is any indication, we should experience an unprecedented turnout for this annual event. Through October of this year we have sold 458 new homes - and had more than 23,000 people visit our information centers and builder models. It’s a great time to showcase Lakewood Ranch as one of America’s premier communities!” As of August 31, there were 418 new home sales in 2013, a 5.3 percent increase as compare to the same time in 2012. In that time period, more than 20,000 people visited the Ranch’s information centers and builder models. With 339 homes in various stages of construction (26 of which are in the luxury Lake Club community), new home sales represent 55 percent of all homes sold in the Ranch. This year, guests will be able tour models in The Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club, Country Club East, The Lake Club, Central Park, Greenbrook, the active adult lifestyle community of Esplanade, and the newest village, Bridgewater. The tour magazine is available at any Lakewood Ranch Information Center. Information centers are located at 6220 University Parkway and in Summerfield Park at 6310 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. The Lake Club has its own sales and information center, located just outside the village’s main gates. Information centers and models are open daily, Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.
