Land Conservation Community In partnership with Blue Ridge Rural Land Trust, 617 acres of key green corridors and forests have been set aside in perpetual conservation easements.
Fishing Western North Carolina is one of the most popular locations in the United States for fly-fishing. Smallmouth bass and trout are plentiful within this region, and Blue Ridge Mountain Club has a number of streams on site that are abundant with native brook trout.

Blue Ridge Mountain Club Celebrates Grand Openings Blowing Rock, NC (July 18, 2014) - During its annual Summer Solstice celebration on June 20-21, Blue Ridge Mountain Club (BRMC) held two ceremonies to unveil new community amenities. The opening of the Trailhead Welcome Center in downtown Blowing Rock and the Nickajack Trail on property were celebrated with ribbon cutting receptions, which hosted a number of High Country dignitaries, members, and guests, and reaffirmed the community’s commitment to its hometown.
