– Hulbert Homes Inc. has been named a preferred builder by Stonelake Ranch, a 685-acre community of just 160 executive and estate homes on 900-acre Lake Thonotosassa in eastern Hillsborough County.
According to John Powell, Stonelake’s sales manager, Hulbert Homes has been building custom homes for more than 13 years in Polk, northeastern Hillsborough and Hardee counties.
It is committed to America’s green-building initiative and offers clients an array of environ-mentally friendly products to meet Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) green-certified or Energy Star®-qualified standards.
Hulbert Homes is an Energy Star partner, FGBC member and a Polk County Builders Association Green Building Council member. Company president Mark Hulbert and two employees also are certified as green-building professionals by the National Association of Home Builders.
At Stonelake Ranch, Hulbert Homes will build residences starting at 4,400 square feet of living space – with prices starting at $700,000 including homesite. Ranging in size from 1.5 to nearly 19 acres, homesites were designed to retain the natural character of this former Florida ranch.
More than a third of Stonelake Ranch’s homesites border Lake Thonotosassa ... the county’s largest ... providing 10,000 feet of lakefront, sweeping water views as well as an island bird sanctuary.
