Bradenton, FL (July 17, 2014) – Tidewater Preserve’s newest homes offer a limited opportunity for low-maintenance living along the water’s edge. WCI Communities has introduced two new Carriage home floor plans at Tidewater Preserve, its premier Bradenton boating community located along a two-mile stretch of the Manatee River.

The first three two-story buildings overlooking the community’s picturesque marina and lagoon have been released for sale in Riverside. The new three-bedroom, two-bath floor plans feature 1,710 and 2,376 square feet of living space designed around an open great room, breakfast nook, kitchen and formal dining area.

Carriage homes at Riverside also emphasize outdoor living with spacious screened lanais and sliding glass doors showcasing the views. Each home has a laundry room with Whirlpool washer and dryer, two-car garage and private entries. Kitchens feature granite countertops, large freestanding island breakfast bars, flat-panel cabinetry, walk-in pantry closets, and a full Whirlpool appliance package.

Owner’s suites offer walk-in closets, doors to the lanai, and bathrooms featuring glass-enclosed tiled showers, private water closets, and vanities with solid surface countertops and integrated his-and-her sinks.

The neighborhood’s first-floor Loxahatchee offers 1,710 square feet of living space.

The Potomac, on the second floor, has 2,376 square feet, offers a private retreat, and aligns walk-in closets at its first-floor entry and second floor hallway to give homebuyers the option of installing an elevator.

Both floor plans will be represented in fully furnished models scheduled for construction later this summer.

Luxury finishes in each Riverside Carriage home include coffered ceilings and 18-by-18-inch ceramic tile flooring in select rooms, solid surface windowsills and decorative baseboards. Homebuyers can select lower counter heights for kitchen islands and have the opportunity to personalize their home at WCI’s Design Studio, located in Venetian Golf & River Club in nearby Venice. The studio provides a comprehensive selection of cabinetry, countertops, bath and kitchen fixtures, and tile and flooring.

With just four homes per building, Riverside is designed for an intimate lifestyle with landscaping maintenance provided by the homeowner’s association.

Tidewater Preserve also offers a dozen single-family Grand Villas, Classic and Riverfront home floor plans with two to four bedrooms and 1,756 to 3,845 square feet of living space. Single-family homes start from the mid-$200,000s.

Three model homes, representing each home collection, are open for viewing. WCI also is offering several quick-delivery homes at Tidewater Preserve for immediate to near-immediate move in.

Amenities at Tidewater Preserve include the Lodge, the 5,012-square-foot community center which earned a 2013 Aurora Award for Best Recreational Facility from the 12-state Southeast Building Conference. The Lodge features a community room and catering kitchen for resident activities and special events, as well as a fitness center with men’s and women’s showers. Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool, playground, multiple al fresco gathering areas, and a large covered veranda and trellised patio overlooking the Manatee River.
