(Dec. 9, 2013) – Sarasota National, WCI’s newest community, has launched home sales with the recent opening of a new sales center and the introduction of seven floor plans.
The community encompasses 2,400 acres, with 1,300 acres designated for preservation, conservation and open space. Sarasota National is approved for 1,584 homes, including 800 homes surrounding the golf course and country club portion of the community.
Offering all-new Carriage, Villa and Grand Villa designs, created to suit any lifestyle, new homes at Sarasota National are priced from the low $200,000s.
The community’s two- and three-bedroom floor plans offer 1,593 to 2,376 square feet of interior space. Homes feature tray ceilings in select rooms, tile and carpeted floors, and master suites with walk-in closets, separate tubs and/or showers. Several floor plans offer kitchens with corner walk-in pantries and free-standing islands/breakfast bars, dens, dining rooms and flex spaces that allow owners to create retreats, hobby and media rooms, and spaces personalized to their needs.
Sarasota National’s three-bedroom, two-bath Carriage homes offer the ultimate carefree lifestyle with three bedrooms, two baths, a great room, formal dining room, breakfast café, screened lanai and two-car garage. The two Carriage home floor plans include the 1,710-square-foot, first-floor Corsica and the Monaco, a second-story home featuring a den and both elevator and staircase entries. Offering 2,376 square feet of interior living space, the Monaco is Sarasota National’s largest floor plan. Carriage homes are priced from $205,990.
The community’s two detached Villa home designs, priced from $225,900, each offer two bedrooms, two baths, a den, and separate dining and great rooms. The Medina has 1,593 square feet of air-conditioned living space, and the Carrara offers 1,807. Both floor plans offer screened lanais and provide the option of converting the den into a third bedroom.
Sarasota National’s three Grand Villa homes include the two-bedroom, two-bath Valencia, offering 1,756 square feet; the Azalea with three bedrooms, two baths and 1,862 square feet; and the Florencia, designed with two bedrooms, two baths, a den, dining room, breakfast nook and 2,039 square feet. Grand Villas are priced from $249,990 and feature two-car garages, screened lanais and great rooms.
The Valencia and Azalea floor plans provide a flex room, which can be dedicated to a variety of scenarios – from den to dining room, hobby area to home media room.
Amenities at Sarasota National include an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Gordon Lewis and certified as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary. The golf facilities include a pro shop, driving range, and chipping and putting greens. Golf membership is included with homes purchased in the Golf Village.
Future planned amenities at Sarasota National call for a resort-style clubhouse with dining and gathering spaces, fitness, tennis courts and swimming.
Sarasota National is close to Venice’s downtown and Gulf of Mexico beaches and is only 20 miles south of downtown Sarasota’s arts, culture and dining venues.
The sales center is located at the main entrance to the community on U.S. 41, about 1.5 miles east of Jacaranda Boulevard.
