(March 18, 2013) – WCI Communities has announced the completion of the Boretto model, a Classic Series single-family home at Venetian Golf & River Club.
The model, with interiors by Kay Green Design, mixes rustic cherry woods and coastal white pieces within a primary palette of warm beiges and browns with deep jade and tangerine.
According to Green, the jade appears on accent walls in the great room, dining room and master bedroom and will be contrasted with white furniture and painted beige pieces.
“It is a real memory point,” Green said. “Large artwork and mirrors also carry the colors and finishes throughout the home.”
The Boretto, one of three Classic Series single-family floor plans at Venetian, offers three bedrooms, three full baths and a den within 2,644 square feet of living space. It has 3,604 total square feet, including a two-car garage, separate golf cart garage and covered lanai.
Venetian Golf & River Club, being developed by WCI Communities, is the 1,039-acre master-planned community located along a scenic stretch of the Myakka River in Venice.
Kay Green Design, which has been featured in national publications and industry magazines including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and House Beautiful Kitchens/Baths, earned 2011 and 2012 interior design awards from the Collier Building Industry Association for its model home designs at WCI’s Manchester Square community in Naples and from the Lee Building Industry Association for a Boretto model at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers.
Finishes inside the Boretto model include 18-by-18-inch warm beige tile, granite countertops and cherry cabinets with a saddle finish in the kitchen and tray ceilings in the great room and dining room painted brown.
The tile floor emphasizes the model’s open floor plan between great room, kitchen and breakfast nook. Sliding glass doors in the great room enhance the feeling by expanding the space out to the lanai and pool area.
The kitchen offers a corner walk-in pantry and a free-standing island/breakfast bar with divided sink and dishwasher and features a travertine tile backsplash installed diagonally.
The owner’s suite has a large walk-in closet with dual doors, a bedroom overlooking the pool and a bathroom with his and her cherry wood vanities, a separate tub and shower.
The two guest baths have deep tan quartz vanity tops. One of the guest rooms is “fun and bright for visiting grandchildren,” Green said.
The den is shown as a shared office, with shelves dedicated to hobbies Venetian residents enjoy, including birding, gardening and golf.
The Boretto is one of nine floor plans offered at Venetian, including carriage homes, Grand Villas and single-family Classic Homes offering three bedrooms and 1,710 to 2,725 square feet of living space.
Venetian Golf & River Club offers an array of amenities, including an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Chip Powell and a 20,000-square-foot Golf Club, where members can enjoy fine and casual dining and a full calendar of events.
The Venetian River Club features dining with a view of the 70-acre Nature Park along the river, as well as a fitness center and aerobics studio, locker rooms, lap pool, resort-style pool with cabana bar and a six-court Har-Tru tennis center. The Nature Park includes the River Walk boardwalk and picnic gazebo.
