4th Annual Members Art Exhibit
April 30 through June 21 at the Hill House Gallery
This annual exhibit showcases the artistic talents of The Reserve’s property owners. Featuring a variety of mediums, the exhibit has grown in size and popularity since its inception in 2008. Guests are kindly asked to call (864) 481-4010 prior to their visit.

Fireside Chat with Vince Jackson

Author Vince Jackson comes to The Reserve to discuss the history of blues and jazz in the Pickens area. His book, The Littlejohn’s Grille Story: Blues, Jazz, and Rock’n’Roll in Clemson, S.C., tells the story of the Littlejohn’s Grille and its owner Horace Littlejohn. The Reserve at Lake Keowee Community Foundation is a non-profit organization created to enhance the quality of life at The Reserve and in the local area while fulfilling a sense of community and philanthropy for The Reserve’s members. The Foundation sponsors regular cultural events including concerts, plays, lectures, and an annual art festival. The Foundation has four major functions: 1.) Help preserve the natural resources in the area through acts and events of environmental stewardship; 2.) Provide educational programs for members and guests of The Reserve; 3.) Promote an arts program at The Reserve; and 4.) Provide outreach activities for neighboring communities in Pickens County, SC. In 2011, the Foundation gave more than $20,000 to local charities.
