Oldfield is a private club community built along a stunning Greg Norman golf course, nature trails, saltwater marsh, and the gentle meanderings of the Okatie River. Designed to fit perfectly within this gently rolling landscape, homes and cottages are built in the traditional Lowcountry style that has for so long marked the area.

Gatehouse: 24-hour staffed security from the Greeter's Store, which also serves as a post office and gathering place for residents.
Club Structure: All property owners are Oldfield Club members and are entitled to enjoy all amenities except the Golf Course and Practice Facility which are available to equity golf members. Pre-limited to 375 members. Beach memberships are available through a joint venture with the Westin Resort of Hilton Head Island.
Golf: Greg Norman's first Lowcountry championship course winds across fields of palmetto trees and up to the salt marshes of the Okatie River, showcasing the course’s natural terrain. Highly playable and scenic with five sets of tees.
Equestrian: 20 acres dedicated to horses and riding pursuits, including a modern 12 stall barn, 2 riding arenas, jumping courses, pastures and miles of riding trails. The Equestrian Center is a private facility for Club Members only with boarding and training services available.
Hunting: Taking a cue from a long-standing Lowcountry tradition, The Dorchester Shooting Preserve is a 1000-acre private hunt club for a limited number of quail, pheasant, chukar and duck hunts. There is also a 15 station sporting clays course. Hunt dogs provided upon request.
River: The Okatie River is a relatively undeveloped watershed that winds through South Carolina’s coastal region. Oldfield offers residents scenic waterfront views and activities such as canoeing, fishing, and kayaking. Community docks on site.
Fishing: Fly-fishing in the river and lakes is a popular sport in the Lowcountry. On-site river pros will plan and guide fishing expeditions as well as teach the art of fly-fishing to any newcomer.
Nature Trails: 8 miles of trails weave around the property taking in the large oaks and walnut trees, unique flora and fauna, ponds and lakes.
River Club: The historic restored River Club overlooks the Okatie River. Here members can enjoy lunch, dinner, and bed-and-breakfast stays.
Sports Club: Includes 6 Har Tru lighted tennis courts, fully equipped fitness center, heated lap pool, outdoor pool and children's pool, massage therapy room, supervised children's play area, his and hers steam rooms and sauna, a fully stocked snack bar, children's play ground, picnic areas with grills for cooking outdoors and canoes for exploring adjoining Goose Lake.
