The 89th Georgia Amateur Championship to be played on The Landings Deer Creek Course
(Savannah, GA) - 2010 marks the 89th playing of the Georgia Amateur Championship which will be played on The Landings Deer Creek course, July 7 – 11. This is the first time The Landings will be hosting the Georgia Amateur after successfully hosting four Georgia Senior Championships (1987, 1989, 2002, and 2008), two Georgia Junior Championships (2000 and 2006), the 1990 Georgia Top 40 Women’s Classic and the 2006 Georgia-South Girl’s Junior Challenge Match.

2010 Savannah Challenger Tennis Tournament Returnd to The Landings
(Savannah, GA) - The Landings on Skidaway Island will once again welcome tennis professionals from around the world when the 2010 $50,000 Savannah Challenger returns to the Franklin Creek Tennis Center May 1-9 , 2010. A portion of the proceeds from the 2010 tournament will be donated to The Savannah Community Foundation to be distributed among local charities. The 2009 tournament, which was held May 2-10, attracted more than 3,200 fans and featured 64 world-ranked tennis professionals vying to win highly coveted ATP ranking points in addition to prize money.

Top College Golf Teams Return to Reynolds Plantation to Compete in 5th Annual Linger Longer Invitational
(Greensboro, Ga.) – Six of the top 25 college golf teams in the nation, led by No. 1-ranked Oklahoma State University, return to The Landing at Reynolds Plantation for the fifth annual Linger Longer Invitational, March 26-28.
