Palm City, FL (August 18, 2011) - At Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club there are many Club Activities for almost every interest however there was no mechanism for saltwater anglers to share their love of fishing. Thus, a newly formed Saltwater Fishing Club has been formed.

The club is open to all members regardless of whether they presently fish or own a boat. The purpose of the Club is to promote fishing in the adjacent St. Lucie River and in offshore waters. Its initial seminar was on the basics of river fishing. There will be a seminar a month by knowledgeable members and guest speakers. Captain George Gozdz, a local premier fishing guide specializing in river fishing, will present a seminar on November 1st, 2011. In December, Lure Manufacturer, D.O.A., will present a seminar on the use of artificial lures. There will be many more seminars to following including monthly tournaments.

Located on the wide St. Lucie River in Palm City, Florida, and with direct ocean access, Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club announces the formation of the Harbour Ridge Saltwater Fishing Club. This group is for all those who like, or think they may like, to fish the river or ocean, whether they presently own a boat or not. The primary purpose of the club is to promote saltwater fishing at Harbour Ridge by providing a support mechanism for both new and accomplished saltwater fishermen. The Marina Committee will be conducting seminars, facilitating boat sharing arrangements, sharing fishing reports and methods, offering one-on-one on-boat tutorials, and anything else the members want or need.
