Baseball, barbecue, and fireworks for the whole family on July 4 at Space Coast Stadium
Viera, Fla. (June 22, 2015) – In honor of Independence Day, the Viera Community Institute, a subsidiary of The Viera Company, will host the 21st Annual Great American Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Space Coast Stadium. The event includes a Minor League Baseball game, the Brevard County Manatees vs. the Clearwater Threshers, plus an all-you-can-eat dinner, and a fireworks show after the game (weather permitting).
“The Great American Celebration has been a favorite in Brevard County since 1994. We continue to produce this event so our guests and residents can celebrate our nation’s freedom in the company of neighbors, friends and family,” said Lauri Duda, Vice President of the Viera Community Institute. “This is the perfect get-together for all age groups; it doesn’t get any better than a summer evening of baseball, burgers, and fireworks.”
Attendees will also receive a commemorative t-shirt, a baseball cap, and an LED bracelet. The all-you-can-eat dinner includes hot dogs, hamburgers, beans, watermelon and unlimited soft drinks provided by Space Coast Stadium, as well as pulled pork, chicken, coleslaw, corn on the cob and slider buns provided by Slow & Low BBQ. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., the baseball game begins at 6:30 p.m., and the fireworks will light up the sky at approximately 9:15 p.m.
The event is sponsored by The Viera Company, The Brevard County Manatees, and Slow & Low BBQ.
