Richmond Hill, GA (Jan. 10, 2014) – WaterWays Township, a 2,300-acre gated master-planned community in south Bryan County, announced today their continued participation as hosting site for the second annual Richmond Hill Resolution Runz; a multi-race event designed to encourage all levels of walkers and runners to jumpstart their new year resolutions, as well as to allow the public to experience firsthand the natural beauty and coastal lifestyle available at WaterWays Township.

The Richmond Hill Resolution Runz is hosted by Georgia Game Changers Running Company, the Richmond Hill High School’s JROTC Battalion and WaterWays Township. The 3.75 mile course is stroller friendly, while the five-mile course will take runners on an off-road excursion through various areas of the community that will provide a physical challenge as well as the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of this coastal Georgia location.

On Saturday, Jan. 18th, the WaterWays community will open for the multiple race event beginning with pre-race registration starting at 6:30 a.m. The 8K race will begin at 8:00 a.m followed by the 6K race at 9:15 a.m.

“Last year’s event was such an incredible success!” said Vance Askew – marketing and sales director, WaterWays Township. “The event was enjoyed by more than 225 participants, which resulted in the generation of more than $4,000 for the Richmond Hill High School JROTC program. This event is something we look forward to each year because we get to observe members of the JROTC in action…their planning and execution of this event has been quite impressive.”

Registration for this event is required. Race registration is available at both Georgia Game Changers Running Company in Richmond Hill and online at http://www.savannahraces.com/.
