Hilton Head Island, SC (June 27, 2013) - The Haig Point Club and Community Association (HPCCA) on Daufuskie Island and the South Carolina Yacht Club (SCYC) on Hilton Head announce that they have jointly created a reciprocal agreement to share member amenities, beginning July 1.

The partnership, which will be celebrated with ceremonies this week (June 27-28), will allow respective members the chance to enjoy everything from yachting and sailing at more than 700 clubs nationwide to golf on the award-winning Rees Jones Signature course.

“We are thrilled to welcome the members of Haig Point into our club family,” said JR Richardson, founder of the South Carolina Yacht Club that will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year. “We feel that this partnership will greatly enhance the member experience of both clubs.”

“This will give us a special way to showcase the charming lifestyle of our active residential community,” said Randall Page, general manager of Haig Point Club and Community Association. “We look forward to partnering with the South Carolina Yacht Club in promoting Haig Point.”

Located on Daufuskie Island, Haig Point is accessible only by boat from Hilton Head Island, S.C. Haig Point residents drive electric carts throughout the community.
