Savannah Lakes Village
With 25 miles of shoreline along 1,200 total miles of unspoiled shoreline offered by Lake Thurmond, easy access to an over-abundance of outdoor recreation sports, and the peace of mind that comes with property ownership within an established member-owned community, Savannah Lakes Village is the ideal lakefront destination for over 2,200 primary home and vacation home owners.

The 4,000 acre community borders the pristine 70,000 acre Lake Thurmond, 63,368 acres of preserved state park and national forest land, and the Little River Blueway Outdoor Adventure Region. These natural features of the land, along with hundreds of miles of hiking/biking trails, kayaking trails, forestry service roads, and even a rails-to-trails project, place Savannah Lakes Village in the heart of an outdoor recreation and conservation wonderland.

Once inside the community however, the Village is bustling with activity. Savannah Lakes provides a vibrant lakefront lifestyle with an exciting mix of recreational and social events for both residents and visiting friends and family. The community also features two 18-hole lakefront golf clubs, clubhouses, and a recreation/cultural center featuring tennis and indoor/outdoor pools.

SLV is the perfect place to retire!

Barb S. - Verified Resident (Since 2000)

SLV is not one of your routine retirement villages, in fact, it is not a retirement village at all. There are two championship golf courses, an incredible lake, and miles of biking and walking trails. Our biggest complaint is there's not enough time in one day to do all of the activities that are available here, This is THE place for the young ...

This is the only place with which I am familiar where we have First Responders, Neighborlink, caring and friendly neighbors, two beautiful golf courses, lots of water and many other amenities. What more can I say? I love it here.

A great place to live!

From our very first visit to SLV, we knew we wanted to retire here because of its natural beauty, all the amenities and the sense of community. We came here from Illinois not knowing anyone. From day one, everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. There are so many activities, clubs and fun events to participate in,but because SLV is located in a ...

We came for the Golf and Fishing, and ALL the recreational stuff to do that y ...
