Indian River Colony Club

"The Place that Patriots Call Home"

Primarily a military retirement community, Indian River Colony Club (IRCC) is a 55+, active adult country club community dedicated to serving those who served. It is located on 453 acres with 773 individually owned two- to four-bedroom single family homes with abundant wildlife and beautiful golf course views.

Residents enjoy a generous maintenance program (inside and outside maintenance), 24-hour gated security and a full complement of country club amenities, including an 18-hole, par 72 golf course. In an ideal location, the community is close to Patrick Air Force Base, shopping, Viera VA clinic, King Center for Performing Arts, Port Canaveral, and Eastern Florida State College.

A Florida not-for-profit corporation, IRCC is owned by its members, administered by a professional General Manager, and governed by the community-elected resident board of directors. All amenities, corporate buildings, and grounds are debt-free with significant monetary reserves. There have been no monetary assessments in its 30+ year history.

IRCC is small enough to foster friendship and camaraderie, yet big enough to provide first class amenities and lifestyle. Homes are competitively priced and there is no state income tax or estate tax in Florida. Golf and Social memberships are also available to non-residents. A military discount is offered. Last Wednesday we became the owners of a fine new fridge with no shopping involved. The accompanying service was amazing. Miguel and Bruce took care of all food transfer and clean-up with smiles and good humor. Our maintenance people are true professionals who do outstanding work. Life is good at IRCC with so many caring, friendly people at all ...

Billie and Paul E. - Verified Resident (Since 2005)

IRCC is unique. Warmest people, friendliest, most efficient staff, wonderful activities, no maintenance, and lovely homes. We've lived in many great places, but this is the most wonderful in every way.

We love IRCC

Donald W - Verified Resident (Since March 2012)

We are retired military, Florida residents for nearly 28 years. Indian River Colony Club (IRCC), the “Place Patriots Call Home”, is the only place south of Gainesville we would chose to live. The camaraderie of a large number of military related residents coupled with numerous amenities make IRCC stand out above all others in the price range. You c ...

Best Retirement Community in Suntree/Viera

Marjean H. - Verified Resident (Since March 2011)

In 2010 when my husband passed away I knew that I could not maintain our 2 acre property. I've lived in Brevard County since 1983 and most of my friends live in the Suntree/Viera area so that where I looked. Before arriving at IRCC, I had viewed at least 30 properties in the area. Although most were nice, none meet all of my needs. When I arrived a ...

Friendliest Community in Brevard!

Carol W. - Verified Resident (Since 2011)

My husband and I have lived at IRCC for about five years. We are some of the youngest residents here, and in fact, are both still actively working. We were welcomed into this community, and the residents couldn't be friendlier! We have monthly block parties, and there are a billion things to do here, groups to join with fun activities, arts, hobbie ...

Active Community

IRCC enables you to get or remain active in close proximity to your home. Activities are only a short golf cart ride away. The close friendships you attain are quickly made and not long forgotten. IRCC is not made up of "old" people. It's made up of very active Senior citizens who delight in one another.

Security, and free to be as involved in any of the wonderful activities going on.

Carole M. - Verified Resident (Since 2011)

I moved to IRCC in April of 2011 and am very grateful to my Realtor, Denise Contella. She was the one who took me to look in here because she thought I would fit right in! She was so right. I had been recently widowed and one of my big concerns was my future and all the little things I could no longer without my husbands help. Here at IRCC I do ...

You have to pinch yourself to realize how blessed you are to live here.

Gene & Lee B - Verified Resident (Since 2004)

Our maintenance program is like no other. I heard the sound of water running, but couldn't locate it for 2 days over the weekend. Mon. morning 9am I was looking at the plantings outside and suddenly was standing in water near the main. I called maintenance. They came right away, found a broken pipe at the main and had a back hoe in, dug up the ...

Although we don't play golf or tennis, IRCC is the ideal place for us. We have wonderful neighbors who watch our for each other and there are many other activities to keep us busy. Maintenance free living (someone else does it, not me) is a dream come true. Retired military with over 12 moves, we've finally found the place that we can call home. ...

The facilities are really top notch, but it is the friendly, welcoming people that make this the place we call home.

This is one special community. We have lived here for nine years and have enjoyed ever minute of it. We've made wonderful friends, love the golf course and there is always something to do. It is the most giving community we have ever lived in.

We can't believe we were so fortunate to find IRCC and actually live here. We're busier and more active now then when we were working. From the every day fine dining to the special events, the golf, the pool, the theater group, wildlife, GOLF, GOLF, GOLF. Did we mention GOLF? Our friends and neighbors are magnificent. We love it here.
