Tampa, Fla. – New homebuyers are often faced with the dilemma of finding the right home in the wrong location, but MiraBay by Newland Communities is partnering with David Weekley Homes to give them opportunities to build in a waterfront community at price points that haven’t been available for years.
What’s unique: prospective purchasers choose their homesite first, and then select their preferred home design. They have many more homesites to choose from than in a typical subdivision, and because they close on both the home and the homesite “up front,” they can lock in low rates and pay only interest on the loan while they construct their dream home. What’s more, buyers can access the extensive MiraBay amenities while their home is under construction.
“The David Weekley offering will be a tremendous complement to the MiraBay community because for the first time in years, we’ll be able to offer newly-built single-family homes in a coastal community from the $300s and buyers can lock in incredibly low interest rates,” said Debra Dremann, VP and General Manager of MiraBay. “What’s more, these homes will be built to green standards, and that offers homebuyers additional efficiency and long-term cost savings.”
David Weekley Homes, America’s largest privately held homebuilder, will offer five different models for the MiraBay Build on Your Lot program. Prices for The Shepherd, The Riviera, The Keywest, The Constellation and The Sarasota models range from $260,000 to $319,000, plus homesite, with sizes ranging from 2,252 square feet to 2,793 square feet. Homesites start at around $70,000.
All homes will have a two-car (or larger) garage, a family room and a lanai. The largest model, The Keywest, will include a living and dining room, family room, lanai, two-car garage and an optional fourth bedroom or bonus room.
