Golf Digest recognizes instructors in every state, and Jon Paupore tops the Best Teachers In Your State 2013/2014 list for Utah. The state-by-state ranking identifies 492 instructors around the country. Paupore was also named a Top-25 golf instructor in 2012 by Golf Tips Magazine.

Red Ledges launched its Jim McLean Golf School in summer 2010 to complement its 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Jim McLean, a world-renowned instructor with more than 40 years of teaching experience and recently named as the No. 3 Best Teacher in America by Golf Digest, selected Jon Paupore as the director of instruction for the Jim McLean Golf School at Red Ledges. The school’s onsite summer facility and indoor winter location in downtown Park City each offer comprehensive instruction on full swing, short game, putting, course management and continuation process.
Paupore also directs the school’s learning center, which is equipped with the latest JC Video golf swing analysis software, as well as the TrackMan launch monitor, the only technology of its kind to map the entire flight of the golf ball from impact to landing, displaying 3D trajectory in real time. Two video cameras capture golf swings that are then analyzed on a giant flat screen TV. The Jim McLean Golf School at Red Ledges is the first golf school in the Intermountain West and is the only teaching facility in Utah to utilize both TrackMan and JC Video technology.
