Brevard, NC (Oct. 31, 2013) – Connestee Falls Property Owners Association (CFPOA) has announced the winners of its 2013 resident photo contests. The CFPOA runs quarterly resident photography contests where residents can enter pictures taken from around the 3,800-acre property.

The Fall 2013 competition had over 40 photographs entered. The five winning entries include photographs of residents, wildlife and scenery around the gated master planned community. The winning photographs are posted on the Connestee Falls Blog at www.connesteefalls.com/blog. The blog also has a Connestee Photo Album with many more resident photos in a flipbook viewer.

The winners included Bonnie Slappey for photo Valley Fog; Jeri Van Assche for Lovely Lake Ticoa; David Spencer for photo Lake TIcoa, Catherine Phelps for photo Connestee Falls, Michele Spencer for photo Pause Along Lower Batson Creek Falls; and Gerry Winterrowd for photo Butterfly.

“We are fortunate to have a really beautiful place and great resident photographers that love to share their pictures,” said CFPOA General Manager Jim Lorah. “It’s always hard to pick since the winners of our photo contests are all the best of the best.”

All of the photographs used on the community website were taken by Connestee Falls residents.
