Doors open at 5pm and guests are invited to come and enjoy boat tours around the lake or fish with complimentary poles and bait set up on the docks. Shrimp’s Place playground will be open for play and the beachfront firepits at Lakeside Amenity Village will be lit.
A grill serving hot dogs, hamburgers and accompaniments will be manned by the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Booster Club with all proceeds benefiting their organization.
“This is going to be a great event to bring the kids to and connect as a family,” said Gerrit Albert, president of Hampton Lake. “We’re thrilled to not only have such a well-loved musician perform at our community but also the opportunity to support two local youth organizations.”
In addition, the outdoor Tower Bar will be open for drinks and Backwater Bill’s, Hampton Lake’s lakefront restaurant will be open for dinner. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 843-836-7475 (credit card only).
Tanner is a family performer who writes a variety of children’s and family songs. He is best known for his shows at Shelter Cove where he has performed for more than 20 years.
