Aiken, SC (August 24, 2016) - On Wednesday, August 3, Aiken community leaders and business owners gathered at The Reserve Club at Woodside to learn more about Woodside’s very first Southern Living Inspired Home Tour, coming in Spring 2017. Since earning the designation as a Southern Living Inspired Community, Woodside has embraced all things Southern Living: from featuring the Southern Living Plant Collection in landscaping to featuring Southern Living recipes at The Reserve Club. The home tour, which will feature not one, but two Inspired Homes, is the next step in integrating this prestigious certification, and it’s big news for Woodside and for the surrounding community.
The Spring 2017 Inspired Home Tour, which will take place from April 2017 through Memorial Day 2017, is projected to draw more than 10,000 visitors into both Woodside and the City of Aiken, and the community is rallying behind this opportunity! Vendors and City officials all gathered together to attend the announcement luncheon, and the groundbreaking ceremony on the Polo, an Inspired Home ideally located in Woodside’s Summer Hill neighborhood.
