Savannah, GA (Feb. 8, 2013) - Led by an increase in the number of buyers generated by national marketing efforts, The Landings Company has announced that Savannah’s Landings community has just completed a year with home sales (closings) more than double 2009.

According to Savannah Board of Realtors data, the community saw 217 home transactions close between January 1 and December 31, 2012, a 21.2% increase over the 179 that had closed in 2011. As a reference, Chatham County single family home sales (in areas other than Skidaway Island) increased by 9.4% in 2012 vs. 2011. Just 99 homes closed in the community in 2009.

Home buyers through The Landings Company were up a robust 40.2% in 2012 over the prior year, and the total number of Landings property buyers or listings sold through The Landings Company has increased from 110 in 2009 to 289 in 2012 – nearly tripling in 3 years.
