Naples, FL (Jan. 10, 2013) - The guests may have all been incognito, but they were welcomed among family and friends as The Tarpon Club at Fiddler’s Creek kicked off the season with an elaborate Masquerade Party.

The South Terrace and Gulf Ballroom at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort were decorated by The Tarpon Club staff with a masquerade ball theme for the grand affair which kicked off the season with much flare. Many guests came decked out with authentic masks and costumes representing an Elizabethan queen or princess or animals such as a panther or leopard. Others chose to dress in black accentuated by vibrant colors and designs.

The extravagant evening was also highlighted with a concocted “Welcome Cocktail” and live entertainment. Members and their guests enjoyed a delicious four course dinner consisting of Grilled Prawn Shrimp accompanied with Strawberry and Rocket Arugula Salad with a Juniper Berry and Balsamic Reduction; Butternut Squash and Ricotta Stuffed Ravioli with Brown Butter and Sage; Colorado Black Angus Fillet Mignon with Roasted Sea Scallops, Sweet Corn Potatoes and Chorizo Ragu. The Chocolate Bignes stuffed with Vanilla Ice Cream and Toasted Pistachio Nuts dessert was the perfect ending to a great dinner.

The Masquerade Party is just one of many social events and activities for members of The Tarpon Club, a resort-style amenity available for residents of Fiddler’s Creek.

The Tarpon Club features a marina, private beach pavilion, complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, luxurious resort and spa privileges, and wine and dine rewards. The Club offers a full-service concierge onsite to assist members with all their respective dining reservations, entertainment and other requests.

Full Tarpon Club member privileges include a wide range of social events and activities for members and guests, including sunset dinners, wine tastings, themed social events, beach parties, fishing tournaments, boat excursions, nature lectures, cooking classes and much more.

This season members will enjoy a Boater’s Day Trip, cruising the tranquil waters around Cape Romano and surrounding areas. After a few hours of boating, members are treated to a delicious BBQ buffet specially prepared by the culinary staff and served on a remote island.

Another event planned this season is the Off Shore Fishing Trip with experienced local fisherman Captain Randy Hamilton. This half-day fishing adventure will begin at the Marco River Marina and take members and their guests out in the Gulf of Mexico in search of big game fish.

Centrally located in the Isles of Capri, The Tarpon Club Marina accommodates approximately 150 boats up to 36 feet in length and provides direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico and scenic backwaters. The marina offers fully covered and enclosed dry storage, providing boaters with protection from the sun, rain and wind. All wet slips within The Tarpon Club Marina are available for rental to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis. Other services include complimentary ice and boat fuel upon request, unlimited one-hour advance pre-launch, and upon your return boat removal from water, engine flush and rinse.

Now, for a limited time, non-residents can enjoy this exclusive amenity. A limited number of non-resident annual and seasonal memberships are currently available offering term date flexibility to meet the needs of area beach and boating enthusiasts.
