Emerge Ortho of Wilmington is a recently built a 3-story medical building in The Villages at Brunswick Forest for all your orthopedic needs. Currently under construction is the 152 bed Liberty Senior Housing complex. There is also a full-service dental office and maxillofacial practice in The Villages.

  • Location

    From the front entrance at Brunswick Forest, you can be parked and enjoying all that historic downtown Wilmington has to offer. Cobblestone streets, horse drawn carriages, 2-mile Riverwalk, exciting nightlife, over 80 restaurants (almost all local), museums, local college, eclectic shopping, lots of live entertainment venues, and more are available 7 days a week. Just a mile up the road from Brunswick Forest, you will find a number of grocery stores, restaurants, hardware store (Lowe’s coming soon), fast food, bars, hotels, and more.

  • Beaches

    If you, your children, or your grandchildren are ready to head to the beach, the biggest decision you have to make is which one. Wrightsville Beach offers oceanfront and ICW dining plus four miles of beautiful sand and turquoise waters. Carolina Beach and Kure Beach are located on the southern end of Wilmington and are very family friendly. Oak Island to the south is a bit more isolated but also a very fun family-oriented vacation beach.

    Brunswick County shares the same latitude as Atlanta, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. The community has mild year-round 4 season weather with a touch of coastal breezes added in. Winter daytime temps average 57 degrees while summertime average temps are mid to high 80s. It might snow here 1-2 times per year however, it usually melts by lunchtime. Coastal NC offers palm trees and colorful deciduous trees.

  • Neighborhoods in Brunswick Forest

    Since opening in 2007, Brunswick Forest has built 21 neighborhoods within the community. Each one is architecturally thematic and stays within a specific price range. The overwhelming majority include yard care with a few exceptions – just in case you want to tend to your yard when you retire. The townhome neighborhoods offer maintenance free living and all offer underground utilities. Natural gas is also available in almost every neighborhood as is high speed internet. Most every neighborhood has at least one water feature as well as a neighborhood park, with community fitness and wellness centers being strategically placed throughout the community.

  • Social Clubs

    Many people feel that Brunswick Forest is an adult day camp because of its variety of daily activities. Currently, there are about 65 social clubs in the community that include but are not limited to MahJong, poker, fine dining club, tennis and pickleball clubs, movie clubs, Bridge, gardening, cooking, travel, needle point, Canasta, bird watching, and more.

  • Golf

    Cape Fear National is a highly acclaimed natural oasis and one of the most beautiful golf courses in Coastal North Carolina. The golf course recently went private, so be sure to ask us for additional information. The clubhouse is open to the public for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and the 18-hole course also has a driving range, putting green, and several chipping areas.

  • Town Creek Canoe & Kayak Launch

    On the edge of the community is Town Creek, a freshwater river that offers fly fishing, bass fishing plus canoeing and kayaking. Bring your bass boat for the river is full of fish and, there is a boat launch via trailer. For those who canoe and kayak, there is a floating launch next to the boat ramp.
