Designed in 1969, Delray Dunes Golf & Country Club is the first of Pete Dye’s designs in Florida. Mr. Dye was quoted in his book Pete Dye Golf Courses, Fifty Years of Visionary Design, as saying “Both Alice and I have a special feeling for Delray Dunes, the first course I ever designed in Florida. I want the course to be the best it can be, and it’s a labor of love for me to continue refining it.”
In addition to its acclaimed golf course, resort-style amenities of this gated golf community include a 26,000 square foot clubhouse, tennis and fitness facilities, full-service dining, swimming pool, and playground.
Wildlife and Florida native landscape adorn the community including a chain of lakes and canals where a variety of osprey, grey foxes, otters, largemouth bass, peacock bass, and songbirds call home. Once in the community, you will find the main mode of transportation is golf carts, bikes, or walking.
