These two ski areas have a combined total of 5,500 skiable acres spread over several exceptionally scenic Rocky Mountain peaks. Closer to home, the nonprofit Bridger Bowl Ski Area offers seven lifts and 71 trails on 1,500 acres of Forest Service land just north of Bozeman.
Hiking and Equestrian Trails: Numerous backcountry trails are accessible throughout the mountain ranges that surround Bozeman, and the splendors of Yellowstone National Park are about an hour’s drive to the south.
