Savannah, GA (April 14, 2011) – The Landings Company, the homeowner association-owned marketing firm for The Landings on Savannah’s Skidaway Island, has partnered with the Executive Women’s Golf Association.

A central component of the multi-year partnership is the private golf community being named the official sponsor of the national organization’s website, www.ewga.com.

As part of the partnership, Landings Club head teaching professional, Nicole Weller, PGA/LPGA was interviewed for a live “Ask the Industry Expert” webinar broadcast on Wednesday April 13, the opening day of the 2011 EWGA Golfpalooza (the organization’s annual conference). After playing for and graduating from Wake Forest University in 1994, Weller received her Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She joined the staff at The Landings Club in 2005, and was recognized by Golf Digest in 2011 as one of the country’s best golf instructors under the age of 40.

“Sponsoring the EWGA website gives us excellent exposure to thousands of women seeking a golf lifestyle and looking to get more involved in the game,” says Bill Houghton, president of The Landings Company. “Our partnership with the EWGA extends our relationship and support for women’s golf.”

The Landings will be the host of an EWGA national semi-final event in July, 2011, as well as the host of the USGA Women’s State Team Championships later in the year.

“The Landings offers a wonderful golf lifestyle and their involvement with the EWGA introduces this great community to our members throughout the country,” said Pam Swensen, CEO of the EWGA. “They also are hosting one of our EWGA Championship semi-finals this summer, giving members in the Southeast a first-hand opportunity to experience their facilities and explore all that their community offers.”
