Chef Zambito was born in Waltham, Massachusetts and grew up with family dinners made from scratch by his mother every night. As an Italian American, environment, food and family have always been very important to him. Jim attended culinary school in Baltimore, Maryland at Baltimore International College. He refers to being a chef as his desire, and his love of food and ingredients as his passion.
Chef Zambito held numerous jobs in Baltimore including the Baltimore Country Club, the Harbor Court Hotel, The Union Club of Boston and at the Boston Garden. Before moving to Savannah to work at The Landings Club, Chef Jim was located in the mid-Atlantic region working with Gaylord Entertainment at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center.
The new Oakridge Steakhouse and Pub will celebrate its Grand Opening on April 9th with a preview to residents on April 8.
