On January 26th, Pete Dunne, a preeminent authority and Director of the New Jersey Audubon Society’s Cape May Bird Observatory, will be at Harbour Ridge to lecture on his specialty.

Field trips for the Harbour Ridge Birding Society this season include excursions to the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Adams Ranch, The Mission Inn and Howey in the Hills, Green Cay and Wakodahatchee.

Harbour Ridge is an award winning, recreational oriented, gated residential community, with major commitments to golfing, boating, tennis, fitness and nature. With its natural beauty in place, the developers maintained over 40% of the community in its natural state. Harbour Ridge is a haven for over 100 species of birds and many, many other animals.

Every Monday afternoon, members in the Birding Club at Harbour Ridge meet in the Clubhouse parking lot tour the community in search of unusual and interesting birds. For information on Harbour Ridge, please contact: HR Properties, (800) 330-1263, (772) 260-5499.
