This year’s Showhouse is being sponsored by The Landings Company and the Wilmington Cabinet Company. “We had such a great response to last year’s Showhouse that we couldn’t resist doing it again! You’ll enjoy the decorating vision of this year’s incredible local designers who will be furnishing each room in our coastal cottage home.” said Rosemary Longueira, Director of Public Relations for The Landings Company.
Admission to the Showhouse is free, but a donation to our designated charity, the Backus Children’s Hospital, would be appreciated. “We are so pleased that The Landings Company selected Backus Children’s Hospital as their partner for this year’s holiday house.” said Kelly Claxton, Development Manager, Backus Children’s Hospital. “This couldn’t have come at a better time!”
Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through each room while getting ideas from the unique furniture and accessories that each designer has selected. Listen to holiday music, enjoy a Christmas treat. You may even find the perfect couch, side table or painting for your own home or to give as a gift to that special someone!
The Holiday Home will be open every Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., from November 20th through December 19th. Stop at The Landings Main Gate during show hours, mention that you will be going to the Holiday Home, and you will be provided access and directions to The Landings Company office where you will be able to pick up a special “Holiday Shuttle Bus” to the design home.
The Holiday Home is being furnished and styled with Holiday decorations by several of Savannah’s most talented designers… they include Bert John, Leah Bailey, and Stephanie Tallevast, with furnishings supplied by The Design House and Sweet Tea. The Master Suite and Study/Guest room is being styled by Tricia Stacy of Hamilton Signature Homes with furnishings supplied by The Emporium on Habersham and The Sassy Flea. The children’s room is styled by Bert John, Leah Bailey and Stephanie Tallevast with furnishings supplied by Le Belle Sorelle and Sweet tea. The Kitchen and Baths of the home have been furnished and styled by the Kitchen and Bath Designers of Wilmington Cabinet Co. Jamie Robinson, AKBD, Michelle Abernathy, and Lauren Fruits. Furnishings provided by Pier One Imports and Kitchenware Outfitters and Wilmington Cabinet Co.
