(Sarasota, FL) -
Country singer David Nail will return to Lakewood Ranch for a private concert at The Lake Club to benefit The Payton Wright Foundation. The foundation will hold its second annual golf outing on May 14th at the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club. Following golf, there will be dinner and a silent auction at The Lake Club and a concert performance by country music star David Nail.
“The great thing about this year’s event is that we have golf in the afternoon followed by a wonderful evening at The Lake Club in Lakewood Ranch,” said Patrick Wright, president of The Payton Wright Foundation. “For those who do not golf, tickets can be purchased to attend the dinner, silent auction and David Nail concert only. It’s going to be one exciting day.”
The day begins with a shotgun start for golf at noon. Golf includes greens fees, cart, box lunch, gift bag and ticket to the evening dinner, silent auction and concert. Victoria Tanco, the top-rated junior golf player and Rolex Player of the Year is going to golf with David Nail at the tournament. The cost to play is $150 per golfer and a sellout is anticipated.
This is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the foundation and the money raised goes toward helping families with children fighting pediatric brain cancer. The silent auction will feature a wide variety of items, including the use of the Progress Energy Suite at Tropicana Field for a Rays game. Tickets for the dinner, auction and concert at The Lake Club are $75.
Dinner for the golfers will be provided by Bonefish Grill on Cooper Creek Blvd., while dinner for concert goers is being provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill on University Parkway.
