Lakewood Ranch, FL (July 19, 2017) - Tavistock Development Company, a diversified real estate firm based in Orlando, announced today that LA Fitness will lease 34,000 square feet within The Green at Lakewood Ranch, a new 525,000 SF, mixed-use development within Lakewood Ranch, located at the northeast corner of SR 70 and Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. Lakewood Ranch is the 3rd fastest-selling master-planned community in the U.S., according to RCLCO, one of the country’s most respected real estate advisors.

LA Fitness will serve as one of two major anchor tenants and is expected to open by summer of 2018, joining natural foods grocer Earth Fare announced earlier this year.

Located at the epicenter of Lakewood Ranch, The Green at Lakewood Ranch will feature more than two dozen high quality shops and restaurants ranging from iconic national brands to local concepts within 150,000 square feet of retail, office and restaurant spaces and 304 luxury residences. Site work began in May and is projected to open in the first quarter of 2018.
