NAPLES, Fla. (March 10, 2017) – More than 2,000 visitors discovered the unique lifestyle, lakefront amenities and coastal-inspired homes at Naples Reserve during the Collier Building Industry Association’s 2017 single-site Parade of Homes.
The South Naples community hosted the six-day public event and also welcomed VIPs with an island-style party at the Island Club.
More than $6,000 was raised through visitor donations, benefitting the Collier Building Industry Association’s scholarship fund.
The Parade of Homes featured 16 fully decorated single-family and custom estate model homes priced from the high-$200s to more than $1 million, and included tours of the two-building Island Club and its outdoor, resort-style amenities.
It was the public debut of Naples Reserve’s model home showcase. The community was created by award-winning developer iStar around a water-centric lifestyle with 22 freshwater lakes woven into the community’s 688 acres.
“We were thrilled to have so many people visit and learn about this special community – one unlike any other in Naples,” said Don Mears, vice president, land and development, iStar. “We were looking forward to showcasing what iStar has created during the last year and visitors were absolutely impressed by the sweeping lake views, the amenities and the Southern Coastal architecture of the models.”
The three- and four-bedroom models, created by eight of Southwest Florida’s top builders, offer 1,800 to more than 3,500 square feet of air-conditioned space, large outdoor living areas, private master suites, custom pools and spas, fireplaces and fire pits.
Parade of Homes tours ventured into five of Naples Reserve’s 11 lakefront neighborhoods.
“Eagle Lake created a lot of buzz because of its size – 125 acres – and the destination Kontiki Island,” Mears said. “Visitors could see how the lake was one of the focal points of the community.”
Eagle Lake provides the backdrop for Naples Reserve’s recently completed Island Club, which captures the ambience and spirit of Key Wet and Florida’s old beach towns. The club features a separate 3,500-square-foot fitness club and the community center. It offers a lakefront beach, a waterfall pool with Junior Olympic lap lanes, beach volleyball and bocce ball courts and the Chat ‘n Chill Tiki Bar. Latitudes Cafe and the Welcome Center’s signature 850-gallon cylindrical aquarium are located inside the 5,160-square-foot community center.
The models feature designs by Ashton Woods, D.R. Horton, Florida Lifestyle Homes, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development, McGarvey Custom Homes and Stock Signature Homes.
Naples Reserve’s VIP experience included musical entertainment, Hawaiian hula and fire dancers and water ball performances in the Island Club pool. Attendees were greeted with leis. Event partners, stationed at each model home, were selected for their brands, perfectly complementing the lifestyle at Naples Reserve – from paddleboards to pet gear, bikes and athleisure. They included B&W Golf Cars, BKS Yoga Studio, Clyde Butcher Photography/Big Cypress Gallery, Duffy Electric Boat Company, For Footed Friends, Lilly Pulitzer, Naples Outfitters, Paws & Prints Pet Photography and Western Bike.
iStar was named 2015 Developer of the Year by Builder and Developer magazine for its commitment to creating exceptional communities and lifestyles with an emphasis on energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
Featuring sweeping open water views, many of Naples Reserve’s homes and amenities are located along the water’s edge. Lakes provide prime opportunities for kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding and scenic vistas. Eagle Lake offers a mile-long stretch of lakefront nestled against the Picayune Strand State Forest, a 76,000-acre state park with protected pinelands, cypress swamps, marshes and abundant wildlife.
The community’s Outrigger Center, evocative of Key West with its palette of turquoise, beige and white, features a wraparound porch overlooking the lake and floating docks. The center provides paddleboards, kayaks and canoes for residents to use, as well as a flex-space available for game days, special events and other activities.
Many of Naples Reserve’s amenities are now open. The lakefront Match Point complex, offering tennis and pickleball courts, as well as a community boating ramp, is scheduled for completion by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
Additional planned amenities include a tot lot, two dog parks and a meandering linear park for biking, hiking and jogging. Navigating a loop road circling Naples Reserve, the park is designed to engage residents with their natural environment and provide an alternative mode of transportation throughout the community.
Naples Reserve residents receive complimentary one-year social memberships at Walker’s Hideaway Marina of Naples, a yacht club along the Gordon River offering a marina, indoor storage for 600 boats, two waterside restaurants, outdoor pool and sauna, and access to Naples Bay.
Naples Reserve offers attached villas, single-family homes and custom estate homes and the opportunity for a private boat dock on Eagle Lake.
The models remain open for viewing.
Naples Reserve is located off U.S. 41, 2 miles southeast of the Collier Boulevard/CR 951 intersection and 10 minutes from I-75, Exit 101.
