Naples, FL (February 8, 2017) — Minto Communities recently received two prestigious awards from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) at the 2017 International Builders Show held in Orlando on January 10th – 11th. Minto received two NAHB silver awards — a Nationals Award and a Best in American Living Award — for Best Clubhouse and Community Facility, respectively, for The Isles Club at The Isles of Collier Preserve.
Just four miles from downtown Naples, The Isles of Collier Preserve is a uniquely located 2,400-acre community that is bordered on the south by Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, the north by Naples Botanical Garden, and the west by Dollar Bay. More than half of the 2,400 acres is dedicated to natural habitat and preserve areas connected by an eight-mile network of biking paths and recreational trails with exercise stations and nature observation areas, as well as blueways for kayaking.
“Minto is honored to again be recognized with these prestigious awards,” notes Minto Senior Vice President William Bullock. “Every aspect of The Isles of Collier Preserve has been meticulously planned by Minto to create a world-class, sustainable community that is in harmony with nature and a model for others to follow.”
The design of the award-winning Isles Club was inspired by the charming coastal cottage style of the original Naples Beach Hotel built in 1888 as a 16-room inn. Like the original Naples Beach Hotel, The Isles Club is distinguished by a stylized cupola and large awning-shaded front porch. Residents and friends gather at The Isles Club for dining and social functions, swimming in the resort-style pool and lap pool, tennis, pickleball and workouts in the state-of-the-art fitness center. A lushly landscaped event courtyard, yoga lawn and kayak launch provide additional opportunities for outdoor recreation.
The Nationals, NAHB's largest and most prestigious awards, honors the best in new home sales, marketing and design. The Best in American Living Awards (BALA) is the residential building industry's premier awards program and spotlights the most creative and talented builders, remodelers, architects, residential and building designers, developers, land planners and interior designers who have redefined design excellence for homes and communities throughout the nation and internationally.
Minto offers a selection of 43 innovative floor plans at The Isles of Collier Preserve. In addition to nine fully furnished single-family home models, four villa models and three coach homes are showcased in the community and are open daily for touring. Luxury villas, coach homes and single-family homes are priced from the mid-$300s to over $1 million. Home designs complement their spectacular natural surroundings and reflect the classic coastal architecture of Old Naples, Florida.
Minto developed The Isles of Collier Preserve using its own funding sources, electing not to utilize Community Development District (CDD) funds, and saving homeowners at The Isles of Collier Preserve thousands of dollars in annual assessments.
The Isles of Collier Preserve is located just four miles east of downtown Naples on U.S. 41/Tamiami Trail East. Discovery Sales Center hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
