NAPLES, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2015) – WCI Communities’ first luxury penthouse-inspired condominium model home in Carrara at Talis Park in Naples is now open for viewing.
The three-bedroom Residence 02 model, located on the first residential floor, features a sophisticated coastal design and showcases vistas of the community’s golf course, lakes and a picturesque bridge.
“The view is exceptional,” said interior designer Jinx McDonald, who placed special emphasis on the model’s large wrap-around loggia. “We created a welcoming space with plenty of seating to encourage outdoor living and enjoying those wonderful views.”
WCI is the exclusive builder at Carrara, an enclave of just 90 luxury homes. Fifteen four-story buildings each will include six homes, with two penthouses per floor. WCI offers two home designs in Carrara.
The 2,950-square-foot model, designed by McDonald and Associate Designer Janine Blume of Naples-based Jinx McDonald Design, conveys a bright ambience with glossy white kitchen and owner’s suite bathroom cabinetry; furniture painted in misty grays, turquoise blues and whites; and salty blue walls set off with white millwork. Natural stone grays and neutrals provide visual contrast.
The model features a library/media room, as well as an open great room and dining room, which are shown in the model as a large living space. The breakfast nook offers a more formal dining setting.
The open home design is enhanced by the continuation of natural stone-look porcelain tile into outdoor spaces. Zero-corner pocketing doors connect to more than 700 square feet of outdoor living area, including a private loggia from the library.
The main loggia wraps around the owner’s suite and two sides of the great room. The golf course and water views are framed by outdoor canvas drapery tied with rope and sea glass beads.
Inside, the open great room features a sectional sofa upholstered in natural woven fabric, matching armchairs with bright geometric-patterned Caribbean blue upholstery, and breezy drapery panels layered in white, gray and turquoise blue. The adjoining kitchen has an island breakfast bar and dark charcoal quartz countertops and backsplashes that complement the white cabinetry.
The nook is positioned in a large bay window and offers a formal but cozy dining area featuring a 60-inch round table with seating for six, a chandelier, and a built-in dry bar with a stone countertop, wine refrigerator and mirrored backsplash.
With private access to the loggia, the owner’s suite features a custom-built king-size bed with silver, mother-of-pearl and reflective accents. The suite also offers a walk-in closet and a bathroom with dual vanities, a separate tub and shower and private water closet.
The model’s watery blue and green tones continue into the two guest suites, both with walk-in closets and private full baths.
The library features a handsome, black painted desk and bookcases and a tailored sleeper sofa to accommodate additional visitors.
“I’ve worked with several clients in WCI’s other luxury penthouse residences, and they love the lock-and-go lifestyle and open design,” said McDonald. “These homes have lots of natural light and privacy for the owner’s suite and guest bedrooms. Every space has been considered to enhance the owner’s enjoyment.”
Residences in Carrara offer private elevators, designer appliances and upgraded features throughout, including tray ceilings in select rooms and tile flooring.
Homes in Carrara start from $735,000 and include ground-level parking and additional space for golf cart parking.
Scheduled for completion next month, Carrara’s private neighborhood hospitality area with a pool, covered gathering area, restrooms and grills will be just steps away from Talis Park’s Casa Cortese Grille, an outdoor dining and lounge adjacent to the community’s driving range.
Carrara overlooks the lakes, fairways and greens of Talis Park’s Greg Norman-Pete Dye designed golf course. Next month, a new three-acre sports complex will open at Talis Park. Featuring six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts with directionally focused lighting and pavilions for resting between matches, the complex also will include a tennis pro shop and clubhouse with restrooms and a beverage center, four bocce ball courts and a 50-foot, two-lane lap pool.
At Talis Park, all roads lead to Vyne House, the clubhouse located on the community’s Grand Piazza that features Esprit Spa, Fiona’s Market Café and the Core Fitness Center. Soon, Talis Park will introduce Vyne Court, an open-air courtyard that will be a social space for a variety of events. The upper level will include formal indoor dining, casual indoor and outdoor dining, a multi-purpose room, aerobics and cardio workout rooms, and a uniquely designed wine room/board room. The lower level will host the golf pro shop, as well as men’s and ladies’ locker rooms.
A resort-style pool with an expansive deck and stately rotunda with a two-sided fireplace overlooking the 18th green will also be unveiled. Upon completion, Vyne House will encompass 32,052 square feet under air and 25,065 square feet of outdoor space.
