Greensboro, GA (May 15, 2015) - On Thursday, Reynolds Plantation Properties welcomed spouses of registered players in the 2015 Spring Member/Guest at Reynolds Plantation for a leisurely, complimentary Open House Tour. The tour began at the Lake Club, where 36 ladies boarded shuttles to take them to five featured homes within Reynolds Plantation. Two of the five homes on tour were the newly opened Model Homes overlooking the tees and signature split fairway of the Creek Club golf course’s number five hole. Open daily for tours, these magnificent golf-front homes were constructed by local builders Camden Homes and Jones and Jones and include inspiring architectural and interior design elements that piqued the interest of several ladies on tour.

Next on tour was the home of Reid and Sharon Conklin, an exquisite lake access home with terrific outdoor spaces that includes a screened-in porch and covered patio with outdoor fireplace overlooking a wonderfully landscaped common area by Lake Oconee. The downstairs, terrace level caught the attention of many guests with its brick accents and impressive pub-style bar; as well as a second master suite with steam shower, double vanity and access to exercise room.

John and Mitzi Coleman opened their doors to Tour guests for one of four stops as well. Their spectacular lakefront home had several terrific features including their dream kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area where guests picked up a couple of sweet treats and cool beverages on their walk throughout the home. Outside, the ladies took in a delightful breeze coming in off Lake Oconee while enjoying amazing, panoramic views from the back of the home looking out over the pool.

The event culminated with Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Chef Edward Leonard’s famous Reynolds Plantation Tartines at the magnificent Scholz-designed European estate of Al and Cheri Cristafaro. Their luxurious waterfront home is located on one of the finest lots on Lake Oconee with an expansive view through its numerous window bays, glazed doors and archways. Several gathered in the chef’s kitchen upstairs for the delicious treats, while others entertained themselves outdoors, taking in the breathtaking views by the pool or in the gazebo. A group photo captured the smiles of all 36 delighted guests before they boarded back up on shuttles to head back to the Lake Club.

“The Open House was a casual, breezy way to experience some of Reynolds Plantation’s wonderful nooks and crannies, along with some of our finest available residences,” says Lee Arberg, senior vice president of sales for Reynolds Plantation Properties. “It’s the first time we have had an event like this surrounding our Member/Guest. To see the positive reactions from the ladies on the tour – that makes it all worthwhile for us.”
