West Palm Beach, FL (Sept. 12, 2014) - If you build it they will come.  Ibis Golf & Country Club has seen a 33% increase in home sales and a 14% increase in its average selling price this year.  In October 2013, the Club began construction on a $33M Capital Improvement Project, which includes the addition of a new Sports Village and an expansion and enhancement to its existing Clubhouse. Phase one, the new Sports Village, is set to open to members on September 29, 2014.

“It’s been an incredibly exciting year at Ibis,” said John Jorritsma, Director of Sales & Marketing. “The anticipation for the opening of the new Sports Village has been overwhelming. The Club is creating amenities unique to the world of country clubs, and buyers are taking notice.  The Sports Village will be an incredible gathering place for members and friends.”

The Sports Village will consist of a 15,000 square foot, two-story fitness complex, poolside Bistro, full-service spa, and a resort-style aquatic center complete with a separate lap pool.

"We are fulfilling the Club’s vision and creating desirable amenities for current and future members, while at the same time protecting the members’ real estate interests within Ibis," added Jorritsma.

The overall project will involve several phases of construction with the Clubhouse scheduled to be completed in late 2015.  Member services will be available throughout each phase.
