Sunset, SC (July 24, 2014) - The Reserve at Lake Keowee Community Foundation is pleased to welcome two artists this August for its Artists-in-Residence program: Tony and Marianne Lenti.

Over the course of a weeklong stay at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, the Lentis will take part in various events, including meet and greet receptions, performances and presentations, as their share their artistic journeys with the community. All Artist-in-Residence events are open to the general public.

Drs. Tony and Marianne Lenti first met as students at the Eastman School of Music in New York. The two saw their original plans of solo performance careers change after marriage, and have been partners in life and music for more than four decades. They have performed as a piano duo across the nation and in international locations such as Milan, London, Bermuda and Warsaw. Tony is currently a Professor Emeritus of Music at Lander University in Greenwood, SC. Marianne retired from teaching in 2005 and has since fulfilled her dream in exploring visual arts.

The duo will be in residence at The Reserve from August 10 through August 17. Tony and Marianne will present a variety of activities during their stay. The overall focus of these activities will be to share their artistic journeys. Attendees with artistic leanings, whether musical or visual, are welcomed and encouraged to participate in discussions with the Lentis. The Lentis’ residency schedule is as follows:

The Reserve at Lake Keowee Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2015 Artist-in-Residency program. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply by completing the online application. Deadline for applying is November 15, 2014.
