This outdoor market features a wide array of vendors exhibiting arts and crafts, jewelry, baked goods, produce, plants, local honey, flowers, fish & tackle, golf clubs and more. It will occur 4 times this year, twice in the spring and twice in the fall.
Hampton Lake invites ALL to attend. “The Market” which will take place at Hampton Lake’s the award winning Lakeside Amenity Village set along the lakeside lawn overlooking the lake and porches of the Lakehouse, Tackle Box gift shop and Boathouse. This is the 2nd year “The Market” has taken place. Complimentary offerings include mini boat cruises on the lake, face painting (by Sassifaces), kids’ crafts (by Hilton Head Nannies), sweet tea in the Tackle Box. Complimentary interactive workshops will also take place on the hour. Enjoy these activities and more as you shop “The Market.” Be sure to mark your calendar for this event which is free and open to the public.
The interactive workshops will begin at noon and continue on the hour. Margie Fox of The Garden Gate, a boutique gardening center located in Old Town Bluffton will give a presentation about Creative Container Gardening at 12:00pm. Geist Ussery of Le Creuset will give a cooking demonstration at 1:00pm featuring a recipe from author Pat Branning’s cookbooks Shrimp, Collards & Grits or Magnolia, Porches & Sweet Tea. Following the demo, Branning will sign books at the Tackle Box. Suzanne McMurray,
owner of “Suzanne A Vision Healing Arts” will give a workshop titled Aromatherapy 101 highlighting flower essential oils at 2:00pm
