Bluffton, SC (February 27, 2014) – Hampton Lake, the premier private lake community in the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton area, will host a lecture about spring gardening and landscaping with Joy Burke, Landscape Manager for Palmetto Coastal Landscaping, Thursday, March 27 at 11:00am.

Burke, has been in the landscaping business since 2000. She has maintained the landscaping for two local golf courses, managed a local nursery and currently works with Palmetto Coastal Landscaping Company that maintains the landscaping around Hampton Lake’s Amenities Village and common areas. She will discuss spring planting and landscape design during this lecture focusing on indigenous plants as well as varieties of turf and soils that work best in our environment. The meeting begins in the Lakehouse. then those interested in taking a guided plant tour around Hampton Lake’s Amenities Village are welcome to join. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Lakeview Room at Hampton Lake.
