(Nov. 21, 2013) – WCI Communities announces the opening of its first Riverfront Estate model home at Tidewater Preserve, Bradenton’s premier boating community located along a two-mile stretch of the Manatee River.
The two-story, three-bedroom, three-and one-half bath Roanoke – one of three Riverfront Estate floor plans at Tidewater Preserve – features interior design by Builders Design of Maryland, which incorporated nautical references and colors inspired by sea, sand and sunsets. Its transitional design mixes dark wood furnishings, metallic and glass surfaces, and features recurring combinations of cobalt and navy blue with tangerine and burnt orange accents throughout its 3,541 square feet of air-conditioned living space.
The Roanoke features neutral backdrops – sand-hued tile flooring, gray and beige walls and upholstery – along with ground-saturated colors and the bold geometric and oversized floral patterns of area rugs and draperies.
The Roanoke has a dining room, den, great room, breakfast nook, three full bathrooms and a powder room and is shown with floor plan options including double doors into the dining room, a wet bar in the second-floor bonus room, an extended paver patio with steps to the pool deck, and a three-car garage.
The model features a pool and spa and overlooks riverfront conservation areas with views of the Manatee River from the second-floor bonus room and balcony.
References to Tidewater Preserve’s boating and nautical lifestyle are introduced in the foyer’s artwork and continue throughout with yacht photographs, harbor scenes, shells and sea life. Each blade of the den’s wooden ceiling fan is accented with a compass rose, and a lamp on the room’s glass desk features a telescope tripod base.
The den offers a dramatic dose of cobalt with painted walls and matching picture moldings, framing inserts of bamboo lattice motif wall covering.
Cobalt is used as an accent in the dining room – in artwork, offset with crisp white millwork in the ceiling and paired with gray and tangerine in the draperies, the latter color also used in place settings and upholstered seat cushions.
The Roanoke’s open floor plan is emphasized in the flow of space between great room, kitchen and breakfast nook and through sliding glass doors to the covered lanai.
The kitchen features granite countertops, a geometrical tiled backsplash, medium wood-toned cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances, including a side-by-side refrigerator-freezer, gas stove and microwave. The island has a double sink and dishwasher and is illuminated by a trio of three-dimensional honeycomb pendants.
Designed with a split floor plan, the Roanoke offers a private master suite and a grand bedroom; a dedicated sitting area overlooks the pool and preserve through window-pane sheers.
The master suite also features his-and-her walk-in closets and a bathroom with a glass-enclosed tiled shower with bench, dark wood vanities with granite countertops, and a separate tub with tiled surface and deck.
The Roanoke’s two guest suites are located in a hallway near the foyer.
The model’s 400-square-foot bonus room offers several gathering spaces, including a desk area, glass game table and a dark cobalt sectional sofa paired with two armchairs with burnt-orange pillows.
Like all available floor plans at Tidewater Preserve, the Roanoke was designed with luxury features and options that allow buyers to personalize their homes, including creating a fourth bedroom from the den or a second-floor guest retreat with private full bath and walk-in closet.
The Roanoke model is priced from $440,990, and is located within Tidewater Preserve’s 14-homesite riverfront neighborhood overlooking conservation areas and the Manatee River.
Riverfront homes at Tidewater Preserve are priced from $390,990.
Tidewater Preserve offers 14 floor plans – two- to four-bedroom Carriage homes, Grand Villas, Classic Series single-family homes and Riverfront Estates – ranging from 1,710 to 3,845 square feet of living space and featuring screened lanais, great rooms and spacious owner’s suites.
