Naples, FL (Feb. 15, 2013) - The senses were captivated and the hundreds of partygoers were mesmerized as Fiddler’s Creek kicked off the 2012-13 season with an elaborate party themed “Surreal Fiddler’s in 3-D.”

The extravagant party held at The Club & Spa offered members and their guests a delicious buffet, complimentary open bar, live band and an extravagant fireworks finale. In keeping with the theme, guests wore special 3D glasses and colorful party masks while colorful strobe lights and laser beams shot through the air to the rhythm of the music.

The Fall Gala is just one of several large parties provided annually for residents of the luxury, master-planned community, said Aubrey J. Ferrao, President and CEO of Fiddler’s Creek, LLC. There also are events to celebrate the Holidays, New Year’s Eve and Easter as well as the annual Passport Party, which treats residents to a buffet of international cuisine from the Pacific Rim, Latin America, the Caribbean and more. As the season culminates, there’s a Spring Fling Gala.

“The social events at Fiddler’s Creek provide an opportunity to bring residents together to enjoy the outstanding resort-style amenities that are currently available within the community,” Ferrao said. “Residents enjoy seeing their friends and neighbors who may have been away for several months and catching up on all their news while enjoying fine food and entertainment.”

At the Fall Gala, residents were greeted with flashing lights and laser beams, accentuating a cast of colorful characters and hundreds of handcrafted sculptures and installations. Live music entertainment was provided by the None Other Band while professional dancers embellished in face and body paint performed, stopping occasionally to pose for photographs with the guests.

Along the pool area were several large banquet tables set with a buffet dinner carefully prepared by the Club & Spa Caxambas Restaurant team.

The menu featured a Farmer’s Market with Apple Salad, Tossed Caesar Salad and Forest Mushrooms; a Steakhouse with All Natural Rib Eye Beef, Grilled Free Range Chicken and Braised Texas Smoke House Brisket; a Seafood Station of Chilled Poached Shrimp, Pan Seared Mahi Mahi, Fried Clams and Blue Point Oysters; a Chef’s Sushi Station and traditional condiments; and an assortment of dessert shots, mousse, tarts, pastries and cookies.

After dinner, the energy moved to the dance floor as dozens of residents danced along with the band. The evening progressed with a breathtaking fireworks show and further entertainment.
